A non pretentious do it yourself home recording autodidact from Amsterdam, Holland. Inspired by the attitude and philosophy by musicians like Jonathan Richman, Billy Bragg, Evan Dando, Joe Strummer and Ryan Adams on how to approach the creative process of making music results in a very unique singer/songwriter style. A loosely played repertoire of plain tunes. The lyrics deal with confusion, doubt, self mockery, emotion, sincerity, the split seconds we weigh up the pros and cons in everyday life decisions and the flies in the ointment in our existence. 2002-2024 Member of the Amsterdam Songwriters Guild. Former host of the Open Mic Amsterdam from 2011 till 2016. Host of the Grande Soirée Amusante Open Mic Reunion Nights since 2022.
